Delete your account and data

There are two separate things you may want deleted, held by two different parties. You can ask for either one without the other.
1 · Your Premier League account
FPLMate does not create this account and cannot delete it. You sign in with an account belonging to the Premier League, and deleting it removes your Fantasy Premier League team, leagues and history with it.
In the app
- Open Settings
- Tap Delete account
- Follow the Premier League page that opens in your browser
That hands you to the Premier League's own deletion flow. It does not remove the data below, which FPLMate holds separately — ask for that too if you want both gone.
2 · Data FPLMate holds
All of it is filed under the email address on your Premier League account.
- App settings — mirrored between your devices so FPLMate looks the same on each.
- Gameweek recap history — your points, rank, and which recap card you were shown.
- Rank history — mini-league positions recorded each gameweek, because Fantasy Premier League does not publish them.
- Sign-in record — created by FPLMate so the above can be secured to you and nobody else.
- Analytics profile — your name, email, which screens you opened, and which plan you hold.
Everything else stays on your phone and is never sent anywhere: your watchlist, saved links, transfer drafts and appearance settings. Uninstalling FPLMate removes them.
How to request it
Email fplmate.contact@gmail.com with the subject Delete my FPLMate data.
Send it from the email address you use to sign in to Fantasy Premier League. That address is how the data is filed, and sending from it is how we confirm the request is yours.
We reply to confirm, and delete everything listed above within 30 days. Copies inside routine encrypted backups are overwritten within a further 90 days.
You do not need to uninstall the app first, and you are welcome to keep using FPLMate afterwards — signing in again simply starts fresh.
What is kept
- Purchase records. If you bought FPLMate Pro, the transaction belongs to Apple or Google rather than to us, and tax law requires them to keep it. Manage those from your Google Play or Apple account.
- Aggregated counts. Figures such as how many people opened the transfers screen in a week contain nothing identifying you and cannot be traced back to an individual.
